Now that you have activated the theme, you will see a notice at the top of the screen. This notice is for letting you know about the required plugins, you should install to let theme work with all features included.
Click "Begin installing plugins" and install/activate (activation is automatic) the plugins one by one ("wpSpade CPT - Wakiro", "wpSpade Shortcodes - Wakiro", "wpSpade Sharing Bar", "wpSpade WP Gallery", "Meta Box - Custom" and "Intuitive Custom Post Order"). Also, this list recommends some plugins from WordPress repository that might be useful for you: "Classic editor" that you need to activate if you want to use "Layout Helper" grid builder with WordPress 5.0, "WooCommerce" as e-commerce platform, "WooCommerce Quantity Increment" add-on, "Contact Form 7" for creating multiple contact forms, "Simple Twitter Tweets" widget, "Force Regenerate Thumbnails" - a very useful plugin, if you migrated from another theme and want to use old images on the website and "WP Instagram Widget" for your Instagram feed. If you want to import demo content you need to install "One Click Demo Import" plugin as well.
To access this page later navigate to Appearance ▸ Install Plugins.
This plugin registers two custom post types: Portfolio and Widget Areas. After installation you will be able to add portfolio posts that portfolio page ("Portfolio" page template) displays. Additionally, you can reorder portfolio posts right via Appearance ▸ Customize screen, if "Intuitive Custom Post Order" plugin has been activated. We will review that in the "Potfolio Visial Editor" overview. "Widget areas" screen let you create new sidebar and footer widget areas that you can assign to all or only certain pages.
This plugin activates new "Shortcodes" button in the visual/text editor. It allows to add Shortcodes that could help you at any stage of adding content to your website. Try this plugin and you will be excited how it's easy to add buttons, tabs, accordions etc. Also the plugin includes a simple page builder, named "Layout Helper". It's unique add-on that eliminates the need of adding grids, using shortcodes, because this may confuse, if page structure is quite complex.
This plugin provides the ability to incorporate Masonry or Justified layout to the default gallery grid. Actually, it's an add-on for the native WordPress Gallery. It does some customizations in the default grids and it has a few options that you are able to see while editing gallery settings.
This plugin adds sharing buttons to posts and pages. You need to activate it and then configure here: Appearance ▸ Customize ▸ Miscellaneous ▸ Sharing.
Any page or post has different settings that let you configure hero image/slideshow/video, define page colors etc. So, this plugin is required for activating the full potential of the Wakiro theme.
